Allison took a few minutes to answer some of the questions I emailed her earlier in the week. She was out the door to a fun business trip in Chicago and said she'd send more information soon.
(I sent her with some Phaze 17 Rebalance to alternate with her regular moisturizer to help keep her hydrated in the windy city; it's slightly heavier than the Phaze 7 that she is currently using.)
How did the peel feel?
The first peel burned a little on the second layer and subsided quickly. I didn’t feel any discomfort at all after that.
Did you see any results after the first treatment?
I was really surprised because I could notice less redness almost immediately. I really expected to need a second peel before anything would happen due to the condition of my skin and the fact that nothing I have ever tried has done much of anything. There was a lot of flaking the first 2 days so I just kept repeating steps 2-4 and it was very controllable. My skin kept improving as I kept following my routine. It is easy to follow the steps and only takes a few minutes in the morning and at night. No more than a regular clense, tone, moisturize routine.
How did the second peel feel?
My second peel didn’t burn at all when applied. All I felt was equal to a toner application and it was gone as quickly. I did feel a little burning later that day and the next day. It felt like a mild sunburn, just slightly uncomfortable. I had a lot of peeling(also like I had gotten a sunburn) for about 4 days.
And the results?
There was even more reduction in redness and two of my sons told me I look like I am wearing makeup when I am not. Wow.
