Who is Allison?

Allison has been a dear friend of mine for about ten years. She and her husband live in the area with five wonderful children, who I have been lucky enough to watch grow from babes to (gasp!) teenagers. Many people confuse us for sisters. Her own mom once admitted that even she would assume that we were related, had she not been her mother.

We're both tall women and we've often swapped clothes in the past. Until a few years ago we both wore glasses (I had LASIK), and while the length and color of our hair changes frequently, we both have thick locks.

One thing that she has that I luckily don't is a pretty bad case of acne. My skin is prone to breakouts, and is very oily, but my worst breakout is probably her best day.

She has generously agreed to be my acne model. She is mostly concerned about her outbreaks on face and body, and is also concerned about the possibility for future rosacea, which runs strongly in her family.

You will see her featured on our blog with interviews, before and after photos, as well as updates each time she comes in for a session and photo shoot.

So that's Allison. If you see her walking around, be sure to tell her how great her skin is looking!
